COLLECTIONS
Collections are curated pathways through the musical world of Robert Miller’s Project Grand Slam — connecting songs through emotion, inspiration, genre, personal experiences, and creative exploration.
Wordless Vocals
Some Project Grand Slam songs communicate not through lyrics, but through melody, rhythm, mood, and imagination. These wordless vocal pieces were inspired by images, emotions, scenes, and musical ideas that seemed to tell their own stories without the need for words.
“March of the Diplomats”
When I wrote this, I pictured a group of diplomats dressed as penguins waddling about. Don’t ask.
“Cousins”
A simple song with a repeating melody that I wrote for my grandkids. It has remained one of my most streamed songs.
“African Nights (For Chick)”
When I wrote this, I pictured Chick Corea playing keyboards in the African jungle. Again, don’t ask.
