COLLECTIONS
Collections are curated pathways through the musical world of Robert Miller’s Project Grand Slam — connecting songs through emotion, inspiration, genre, personal experiences, and creative exploration.
Reimagined Songs
Reimagining familiar songs has been another important part of the Project Grand Slam musical journey. Rather than simply covering well-known material, these recordings reinterpret classic songs through new arrangements, rhythms, grooves, instrumentation, and musical perspectives — transforming familiar music into something fresh, unexpected, and distinctly Project Grand Slam.
“The Captain Of Her Heart”
My reimagined version of the Double hit, featuring the great Judie Tzuke on vocals.
“You Really Got Me”
My homage to Ray Davies and The Kinks, featuring Lucy Woodward on vocals.
“I’m So Glad”
Jack Bruce was my first bass hero. This song is my tip of the hat to Jack and Cream.
“The ‘In’ Crowd”
My reimagined version of the mid-’60s Dobie Gray classic, set to a smooth Sade-inspired groove.
“I Wanna Be Your Girl”
The Beatles’ iconic rocker reimagined with a female vocalist in 7/4 time.
